Canโ€™t get my mind off this Smoked Brisket Burger ($21++) from @mamasoisg! โคโคโค Featuring a generous amount of pulled beef using 12-hour smoked brisket ๐Ÿ„, seasoned with asian herbs & chili sauce, the filling was definitely the highlight of the dish! ๐ŸŒŸ The luscious caramelised onions added a sweet touch to the savoury meats, making the taste profile a well-balanced & tantalising one! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Sandwiched between two fluffy & buttery buns, this was undoubtedly my favourite dish! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Comes with fries ๐ŸŸ perfect for munching on!
.
Fret not if you canโ€™t take beef - their Chargrilled Peri Peri Chicken Burger ($18++) is equally delightful! ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป Served with vegetable coleslaw & mama's burnt chili mayo ๐ŸŒถ, the thick & succulent chicken thigh meat ๐Ÿ“ with a hint of smokiness from the grill will surely satisfy you. ๐Ÿ˜‰
.
If youโ€™re on a keto diet or wanna go all out on your meats, their Roast Meat Platter ($39++) would be the perfect choice! โœ” Featuring 1/2 sous-vide chinese roast chicken ๐Ÿ“, a slab of coconut grilled chicken thigh, 24-hour smoked beef brisket ๐Ÿ„, pulled pork ๐Ÿ–, chili jam & a side salad ๐Ÿฅ—, this humongous platter will certainly delight all the carnivorous eaters out there! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

Sharing with you some of the eats at @MAMAsoisg, which is just a stoneโ€™s throw from Somerset MRT (Cuppage Terrace)! ๐Ÿ˜‰ Be delighted with tapas & mains with Southeast-Asian influences! โœ”

๐Ÿ”น๏ธChinese-Style Roasted Pork Belly ($24): slices of pork belly ๐Ÿ– are fried twice to render that crispy crackling! ๐Ÿ’ฏ Served with apple celeriac salad. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธBahn Xeo ($21++): a traditional vietnamese pancake with prawns ๐Ÿฆ & nuoc cham (dipping sauce)
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธGrilled Prawn Salad ($17++): a healthier starter! Features salad made with watercress, potato ๐Ÿฅ”, cucumber ๐Ÿฅ’, lime & wasabi mayo, topped with some fresh crunchy prawns ๐Ÿฆ
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธWok Fried Salt Pepper Squid ($19++): you just canโ€™t go wrong with calamari rings right? ๐Ÿฆ‘ These well-seasoned fried munchies are pretty addictive! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹

If you enjoy having a Kong Bak Bao, youโ€™re gonna have your cravings satisfied here at @mamasoisg ๐Ÿ’ฏ as they offer several variations to these buns! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ For me, anything with a hot piping fluffy bun works! โœ”
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธBraised Pork Belly Bao ($11++): features a thick slab of braised pork belly ๐Ÿ– sandwiched between soft buns, topped with coriander, crispy shallots, haus relish, crushed peanuts ๐Ÿฅœ & haus sauce! The cut of meat used was pretty lean which I really liked as it wasnโ€™t overly fatty nor greasy! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป While I would have loved the pork belly to be more succulent, I must say that it was flavourful! ๐Ÿ˜‹ The crushed peanuts added an alluring nutty fragrance to every bite! ๐Ÿ’•
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธBeef Rendang Bao ($11++): filled with a generous amount of braised beef ๐Ÿ„ with burnt chili mayo ๐ŸŒถ & caramelised onions, I utterly enjoyed the flavours! Very well-marinated & seasoned, the sweet-savoury taste profile really appealed to me. โคโคโค Would be perfect if the beef could be even more tender, but I enjoyed this nonetheless! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
.
๐Ÿ”น๏ธBird Manโ€™s Chicken & Cheese Bao ($11++): just who can resist fried chicken! ๐Ÿ— Chicken thigh meat is battered & fried to the perfect crisp, & that layer of savoury melted cheese ๐Ÿง€ just aced it. Together with truffle mayo & crushed peanuts, this was akin to Chinese take on burgers. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป
.
Personally enjoyed the first 2 more especially the Beef Rendang Bao as the braising liquid really permeates the buns, making every bite a flavourful one. ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค Would gladly settle with the mess!

Nestled at Cuppace Terrace is @mamasoisg, a Kitchen-Bar serving up dishes with a South-East Asian flavours. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป With an al fresco seating area, it has a pleasant ambience good for winding down with a group of friends! ๐Ÿป
.
Almost a staple on every table, their signature Son-in-Law Eggs ($7++) really impresses on presentation. ๐Ÿ’ฏ Letโ€™s forget about any connotation on the dishโ€™s name & focus on the food itself! ๐Ÿ˜‰
.
Texture-wise, I would say that it is a cross between hard-boiled eggs & Ajitsuke Tamago (ramen egg). ๐Ÿฅš Cutting through the firm egg white unveils a runny yolk that lends a nice luscious mouthfeel. ๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค๐Ÿคค Liked that the eggs were greasy at all despite being deep-fried to paint that golden brown on the exterior. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
.
The highlight would have to be the accompanying mama's signature chilli jam ๐ŸŒถ, which gives the eggs more oomph with its slight spicy kick. ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Served on basil leaves & tipped with sliced chilli, this was certainly an elegant way of presenting eggs on a plate! ๐Ÿ’•

Got the Son in Law eggs for starters - it came with chilli jam and a creamy center. Our mains followed - Miso Truffle Prawn pasta & Laksa pasta. The Miso Truffle was too salty despite several mouths and I feedbacked for a change, which the restaurant kindly recooked a new plate for me. Laksa pasta came lukewarm, was pretty dry and taste wise - felt like I could recreate it with the PrimaDeli laksa paste at home. Not sure if I'll be back, thought the atmosphere was good!
