One word. Amazing. Yes, amazing as usual which is great considering how the quality of great restaurant food tend to dimish over time.

The mentaiko salmon sauce is splendid, just creamy & full of flavour. The salmon, was a little bit on the dry side, but the sauce more than made up for it.

Rating: 9/10. This is a hidden gem.

Absolutely amazing! 4.5/5. Great wait staff, very polite. Awesome food, I've been here 3 to 4 times and the standard has remained the same. $21.90 each. Generous meat portions, Mentaiko sauce and Truffle oil. Will return!

Total SGD$47+ if I ain’t wrong.

Chirashi salad: lettuces were not cut into small pieces so it annoyed me a little when I tried to fold ʼem into small by the fork so that my mouth could consume the whole. The fish cubes were goddamn little -,- not worth the price.

Salmon udon: the salmon tastes not bad but the noodles were so bland even through the menu said it’s soaked with the cream. My friend and I couldn’t even taste any hint of cream. We ended up leaving the noodles aside not finishing ʼem.

Egg rolls with truffle on top: egg rolls were all right but I don’t know why the combination of egg’s sweetness and truffles tasted weird to me when I chewed ʼem altogether...

Result: I’ll definitely never come back again for their portions aren’t even worth all the costly prices. However, the service was quite nice!

Well between this and another eatery I ate recently which serve the same dish, this is definitely not as good.. the meat is dry, the foie gras serving is miserable! But Service Staff Is Nice and I hope they don't get reprimanded for this bad review.

Sad to say that this is one of those restaurants that got overhyped by the media players. These squid ink sushi variants felt like they were purely created for the gram - aesthetically pleasing but lacking in distinct squid ink taste. I was even more disappointed when I tasted the room temperature raw fish - bad taste aside, it's worrying from a food safety perspective.

However, I'd recommend their Mentai Chicken Wings ($8.90). While they arrived in very light brown colour, I was surprised that they were deboned for easy (and shiok) consumption. The interior was juicy, but I couldn't taste the mentaiko 😅

Another one of their recommended dishes but fell short of expectations as well. The chicken breast strips were a little dry, and the miso topping didn't make an impression. The soba was overcooked and a little soggy too.
