Was a pleasant surprise cause Maotea is just a small shop tucked in the corner of deserted *Scape. Ordered Golden Oolong Milk Tea & Brown Sugar Milk Tea, and both met our expectations! Will definitely come back again!
The Golden Oolong Milk Tea was very fragrant. It was my first time encountering and trying Earl Grey Jellies and it was so good! The jellies were kind of sweet (as expected) but I would definitely recommend it to all Earl grey lovers out there - maybe pick a lower sugar level if you’re going to pair your drink with these jellies.
Overall a good experience, very worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal.

Visited this shop because of burpple, and ordered both drinks without topping. Overall was quite nice and the jasmine green milk tea taste reminds me of the old school bubble tea shops (in a good way). Would visit again. Go easy on the sugar!! 50% is still really sweet for us 😂
Ordered Earl Grey and Golden Oolong with 1-1 deal. The toppings are chargeable though, so I tried one earl grey jelly and another pearl. Total cost was $5.20 instead of $4 plus. The service staff was friendly. Fantastic deal, can claim 1-1 on Eve of PH 😁

Not only did he recommend the Ice Soursop Tea (his fav!!!) that comes with actual soursop pulp - he added complimentary commando jelly (the popular red tea jellies from changi village) to our tea. I was VERY SURPRISE at the combination and completely enjoyed this new concoction!
If it weren’t for the Burpple 1-1, I probably wouldn’t have stumbled upon MAOTEA and my new fav bbt order 🤩
