Needed an affordable place that can fit many people. Probably won’t come here on my own. Laksa flavors were sorely lacking. (5.1/10)

Hmm not very sure how this is suppose to taste. But it was very plain, and not much ingredients. I might come back for the mentaiko pasta.

Well, Marco Marco just serves up pretty amazing thin crust pizzas. Inspired by cuisines over the world, some listings in their food menu are kind of unique. And talk about their nett prices being affordable!

Linguine with eggplant and tandoori chicken (choice of paneer) in spicy masala sauce, and mint yoghurt on the side. β€’

Rather enjoy the pasta choices at Marco Marco. They are interesting names too like The Kyoto and The Roma. Other than this pasta, I will recommend The Singapore ($11.90) which has a laksa cream sauce and The Bangkok ($12.90) which is tom yam based. β€’

Pastas here range from $7.90 to $12.90. They have paninis and pizzas too.

Classic creamless carbonara, garnished with bacon, black pepper, and a raw egg yolk. Wasn't expecting much out of this place which was chosen at random and out of convenience, hence I was pleasantly surprised at how good this was. The spaghetti was cooked al dente - it was chewy (in a good way) and had a great texture. The egg yolk really helped to bring the dish together, and together with the melted cheese made a nice sauce for the pasta. Traditional carbonara does not use cream anyway, so this makes for a refreshing departure from many others out there that can be a bit too heavy. Priced at $11.90
