📍Marutama Ramen (The Central)⁣
- Karashi Ramen からしらーめん🍜⁣
- Ajitsuke Tamago 味付けたまご🥚⁣
- Yaki Gyoza 焼肉餃子🥟⁣
- Yaki Char Siew 焼きチャーシュー🥓⁣

Prefer thick hard noodle to those thin noodle, decent but not really to my likings...😜⁣

The gyoza fillings are well marinated, thinly skinned and juicy, the char siew are not too fatty, come with that chargrilled taste, yummy~ Good for sharing!

Damage: $20 - $40

A bowl of simple yet flavorful chicken broth ramen. Tasted very homely and easy on the palate! Found myself finishing the soup easily and feeling very much satisfied.
Charsiew was also well-done - very tender and had the right balance of fats to lean meat.
Would definitely patronize Marutama again for no-frills amazing ramen!

This store used to be my favorite place for ramen. Unfortunately, I was utterly disappointed with the ramen that I had yesterday as it was very salty and oily! The noodles was also a bit tougher than usual. Don’t think I will be going back for their ramen again although the egg is really good!

Ultimate comfort food👍🏻. The broth is light but very tasty. Noodles could be harder although it’s just my preference for firmer noodles. The char siu is so tender and flavourful. Favourite part is the egg. Well marinated on the outside and runny on the inside. Just look at the perfect golden yolk glistening 😍

All time favourite roasted char siu❤️
Haven’t had this in years but it’s still SO GOOD!
Perfect balance of fatty bits and tender meat, with the wonderfully charred edges. Simply melt in the mouth🤤!

Althought not as commonly found as its tonkotsu relative, I prefer the chicken based broth which is not as jelat but still really flavourful with a rich mouthfeel. Thanks to the new downtown line, liang court is super accessible now!
