Converted a non-ramen lover (me) 😂 ate their signature bowl and I’m in love with the chicken soup and unique seaweed bits. Perfect rainy day fud

only $13 for this bowl of well cooked ramen in a relatively light chicken broth :) great for if you’re not too hungry but want to have a substantial meal

This was a solid bowl of ramen! Tonkatsu broth was good, not overly cloying but still flavourful. The egg and chashu were meh. That seaweed like vegetable though, was interesting. Never had it before but it soaks up the broth so well.

Tamago Ramen ($14.50)

Signature ramen @marutamaramen.sg is still as good as ever. I prefer the original to the spicy soup base and the seaweed topping is very different from other ramen place as they don’t just slide in a sheet of seaweed. Char siew is also tender and tamago has a slightly oozy center. The soup is so good I always finish every drop.

The ramen is served with thin noodles and chicken soup base. Tasted a bit like meekia in koka soup base. Their egg is also a tad too salty.

Wasn’t feeling particularly hungry so I had some snacks instead of the famed ramen. The char siew was surprisingly tasty, with the meat being so tender and cholesterol-inducing-fatty, you can’t stop at just a piece! ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
