Revamped place with a much wider variety on their menu selling everything from mains to desserts to drinks.

I was most attracted to their dessert menu. Not only do they retain their parfaits and soft serve, they also serve crepe cakes, tiramisu and tarts now.

Ordered a Matcha Yuzu tart($8.50) and it was pretty well done. The tart was not too thick and the matcha ganache was very creamy. The circumference around the ganache within the tart was surrounded by Yuzu jam and gave it a nice sweetness. However I actually hoped that the Matcha taste could be stronger but still, this is good enough.

At matchaya, customers can opt to go for oat milk in replacement of the usual fresh milk in their drinks for an additional $1. The choice of oat milk is perfect for those needing dairy-free/gluten-free/vegan options!

Tried the koicha milk previously with fresh milk, and went for oat milk this time round instead out of curiosity. I ended up preferring the version made with oat milk though.
Not sure why, but it just felt smoother and creamier and a little less astringent too. However, the additional topup made this drink cost a whopping $8.50. Talk about burning a hole in my wallet..

My go-to place for matcha and hojicha desserts. Hojicha milk without sugar is my new favourite drink, the tea flavour is robust.

Earl grey lavender mille crepe was too sweet with the icing topping and I thought the lavender taste was abit too much. Not really to my liking.

This was better than your average matcha macaron from elsewhere, but the thin layer of matcha cream was hardly enough to satisfy my matcha cravings😅 The macaron shell was crumbly but i would have liked it to have a little more chew/bite to it, and the meringue-like sweetness of the pastry shell was a little distracting, so while i think its worth a try, i probably would not repurchase this to satisfy my matcha cravings

Quite a treat for matchaholics, more matcha powder is dusted on the plate to satisfy your cravings! Though the red bean gives some texture to the soft sponge and cream, I’m a matcha purist so i would prefer keeping it out of my cake. (I would’ve given this 4⭐️ if not the red bean haha) If you enjoy not-so-sweet desserts, this one is for you 🍃🍵

⁣⁣⁣Chocolate tart base filled with smooth matcha curd and yuzu bits hidden within it.

This dessert has a lighter matcha flavour, suitable for those who are not fans of super rich matcha but it is on the sweeter side though. Pretty good!
