Matchaya did it again!
How is this extremely smooth, robust umami-ness matcha soft serve only for a limited time? Make it permanent please!!

The name "Osaka 'Fluffy' Pancakes" made me assume that the pancakes were going to be soufflés. But they weren't, they were just normal pancakes ☹ So that was quite disappointing, but I'll give them props for the aesthetically-pleasing plating, and the sauce was not bad too. Although it took a while for them to serve the pancakes (which made me further assume that they were making soufflés, yes I'm still salty about that).

But they managed to redeem themselves with the Houjicha ice cream. YUMMY. I LOVE the aftertaste of the ice cream after it has melted in my mouth. That aromatic roasted tea leaves flavour that lingered after each spoonful is *chef's kiss* 😚👌🏻 Just can't get enough of it. The Matcha on the other hand was okay, a bit underwhelming as it was more creamy than matcha-y, if you get what I mean. It got a bit "jelak" after a while. So note to self, next time forget about the Matcha, get the Houjicha ice cream instead!

Was here to watch movie and reached earlier before the screening time, so decided to spend my waiting time here with their matcha milk.

You get to change the milk to oat milk which given interesting taste to the matcha actually.

Priced at $14 for 2 bottles, their houjicha & matcha milk is a must buy from Matchaya. I love how it’s not too sweet & is super rich!

Layered with buttery almond sponge, houjicha butter cream, rich houjicha ganache, and a crunchy praline feuilletine base.

recommended by @matcha.nomster's favourite swiss matcha roll cake so I did wanted to give a try for a long time since last two years ago and just nice matcha yuzu tart just sold out that time :"). I realised that swiss roll cake got a lot of matcha powder topped with the cake and didn't get to eat red bean also (felt that red bean was too little already for me already) I really like their swiss roll to be moist, not that dry and quite bitter aftertaste. They also released other flavours at Paragon.
