McDonald's (Compass One)

Finally tried this after its second appearance in stores. Was reluctant because I'm often disappointed by these flavoured pie gimmicks. Alas, I have been proven wrong.

I like it! The crust has the same characteristic flaky crispiness as their Apple Pie. The flavour of the chocolate sauce is reminiscent of a molten chocolate lava cake. Think lava cake with a crispy pie crust. It's a yes from me.

I love goguma 고구마 (sweet potato in korean) and thought this was a brilliant decision to bring in this soft serve! The charcoal waffle cone compliments w the sweet potato. It is as if you are eating roasted sweet potato. However, oddly, it tasted alot like sweet potato essence powder in the vanilla soft serve. Lacking the solid goguma texture that makes goguma nice.
Overall: ❤❤❤

Their new crispy chicken is its poorer cousin, crispy and tender as promised but lacking distinct flavour; this is perhaps more accessible for people who can’t stand the full heat of a McSpicy, but the satisfaction is also reduced. @mcdsg

Why is the burger so humongous and so messy to eat! I only liked the crispy parts of the chicken. Disgusting chicken skin went into the bin. Didn't touch the caramelized onions either. And special order without cucumber. Hmm I think I'm better off eating a mcspicy burger and nasi lemak by itself 🙊#nasilemakburger #macssg #burpple
