One of the best meals we’ve ordered this Circuit Breaker has got to be from
Just check out that variety. The family definitely love their Wagyu Rice Bowl, Hasselback Potatoes on Tobiko Mayo and BBQ Smoked AnXin Chicken. If you have kids, get their Mac & Cheese. Personally, my favourite is their Beetroot & Fried Cauliflower Salad dressed in an apple cider vinaigrette and finished with savoury crisp bits of umami pumpkin seed crumbs.

The prawns are fresh. And taste so good

The butter steak just melted in my mouth. So soft and so delicious

The lamb skewers were also damn awesome

But the winning dish is the off menu dessert item, cheesecake creme brulee. It was piping hot but so damn shiok.

Wonderful place. Great ambience.

Friendly staff. And the boss is there to also serve the food to you and elaborate on each dishes.

Located at Duo Galleria, the Meating Place is the right space for you to meet, and meat. They have a fairly simple menu, but definitely one that has been thought out - from the starters, to the mains and even the desserts.
During our first visit, they recommended sharing 3 starters, a main, and if our stomach had space, a dessert. We followed their recommendation and boy, were we stuffed.
We shared the Steak Tartare ($16), Mushroom Fricassée ($13), Cornflakes Pumpkin ($9) for starters, ordered their Dry Aged Striploin ($29) to share and ended our meal on a tangy note with their Summer-Lova ($12).

Dropped by Meating Place again yesterday since they have released their new brunch menu (yes, they are now open for brunch on Saturday).

Tried this off the "From the Barbeque Pit" section of the menu; tender and succulent chicken that is drenched in a light, tangy and smoky BBQ sauce that compliments the meat rather than overwhelming the meat. Each meat comes with Black Garlic Aioli (helping to cut through the meatiness for the heavier-tasting meats), Sumac Rocket Salad (really Asian-tasting and addictive, to our surprise) topped with Crispy Garlic for a crunchy texture. Yet another dish that hit the mark here; never a disappointing visit here.




With a side of garlic mayonnaise, chopped spring onions and garlic chips.

Beef was cooked to the perfect doneness (I chose medium rare).

Chestnut Glaze, Korean Chili Flakes. The appetizer that is pretty much in your face with its description and aesthetics. The peppers carried its own fragrance well amidst that smokiness; a little bitter while the Korean Chili Flakes helps to ante up on the spiciness a little. The dish would have been totally different if not for the Chestnut Glaze; carrying a grainy texture, it carries an earthy sweetness that cuts through right where the peppers can get a little too bitter and strong, providing a good contrast of flavour.
