Here is the main meat platter (from bottom left, top left, bottom right): Beef brisket, Wagyu striploin, pork ribs, and the chef’s special was the chicken (top right).

I liked all of the meats! It was super tender and taste wise was fabulous!

A friend suggested to dine here and I was pleasantly surprised the dinner experience was different from my lunch experience. It was close to fine dining where they gave a set of cutlery meant for starters and another for the main platter, plus describing the items on the platter when it was served to us.

The staff was professional and described what the items on the starter plate were: Pork Belly burnt ends, brisket springrolls, scotch quail eggs & caviar, and hamachi tacos (not shown in this pic) which was served in a separate plate next to this.

Thereafter, the staff came to clear the entire setting to give us a brand new set that was meant for the main meat platter.

Got their $10 takeaway burgers. Wah guys. Died and went to heaven. All three burgers (chicken beef and the brisket) were damn good. Idk how they are charging this for $10.

Unfortunately, this beef brisket fell short of expectations. Although this brisket has been claimed to be smoked for 14 hours, it wasn’t as tender as I expected. In fact, the meat was a tad dry to me. The salt and pepper rub was concentrated on the layer of skin - so even though it added a good flavour to the brisket, it became way too salty after a while, with some portions of the brisket tasting evidently bland. One can only wonder if there’s a way to blend the two flavours more holistically together. Nonetheless, the char on this meat was great, and portion size was good. While there were shortcomings with the meat itself, I appreciated how meaty (and not fatty) it was! Perhaps on my end, I had way too high expectations for meatsmith. That being said, if you love meaty briskets like me you ought to give this and the other items on the menu a try. In fact, I would love to go back to try their mac & cheese and beef short rib.

A simple cheese burger with melted cheese, pickles, and a quality wagyu patty that gives off a great flavour with a good char. It was a burst of delight and juiciness eating this, considering how simple and sinful it looked. Nonetheless, it does pinch your wallet quite a bit considering the lack of sides and the relatively small size of the burger.
