Nice enough but I still miss the nostalgia of the original Chinatown outlet

Wow love the presentation! It was refreshing and not sweet at all, even the red bean. Good portion of them. Just that we thot the matcha didn’t taste strong enough.

I have a super sweet tooth - think 100% Koi sweet (!!) so I was very surprised that I would like this, given that it is traditional dessert (black sesame and almond) in snow ice form. But really, whoever invented this should be awarded a medal!! I love how the taste of black sesame and almond is there, but you get the refreshing feeling of eating snow ice and having it melt in your mouth. This was also topped with grass jelly, jelly and almonds, which really tied the whole dessert together. However, this would have been perfect if the portion was bigger 😢

This dish is good for anyone who needs a cooling & refreshing dessert.

The shaved ice is great! It melts in your mouth almost immediately. The shop gives quite a generous portion of shaved ice. The mangos are also really sweet and just the right degree of ripeness.

My only qualm with this dessert is that the mango sauce tastes of artificial flavorings.

This goes for $5.50, and can be shared by 2-3 pax.

Mango with Pomelo and Sago - $5.00
This popular dessert from Mei Heong Yuen (味香園) is extraordinary. The mango puree is perfectly blended with whipped cream and sago, topped with mango cubes, pomelo sacs and crushed ice. Now, the fans of this desserts place will no longer have to go all the way to Chinatown to get their dessert fix.
