The usual tendon came with 2 prawn tempura and assorted vege tempura, but I asked to replace the vege with prawns to make this ebi tendon. The prawns were quite large despite not being Ooebi. Very satisfying.
Got 9 pieces for red bean bun (Hokkaido Azuki Onsen) cost $15.00. It was not that sweet taste for auzki (red bean filling) but got that traditional (古早味) taste. Need to fridge before consuming the red bean bun.
A wonderfully soft and moist sponge cake with delicate Sakura floral fragrance. I loved the Chantilly cream, so light, almost like whipped cream, only better. Topped with pickled Sakura flowers. I could find no fault with this Swiss roll cake. Utterly delicious.
Had my eye on this when I was browsing around. Then when I turned back to get it, it was sold out! I asked the staff if they would make anymore and they immediately said they would whip up a brand new one for me. Such warm service! Bcos it was freshly made, the rice was still quite warm. Loved the combi of teriyaki chicken and mayo. Super yummy! From the cooked food section inside Meidi-ya supermarket.
From the cooked food section inside Meidi-ya supermarket. They had 2 sizes. This was the big one. Not as nice as the ones at Bentoss Kitchen in the Food Plaza just opposite but once heated up in the oven, it was actually quite yummy.
This had 2 huge prawn tempura and assorted vege tempura. Thou they didn’t offer a spicy version, I must say that I enjoyed this very much. Just add chili powder can already. The prawns were fresh and succulent and so crispy. I really would love a bento that offered only prawns no need vege. From Bentoss Kitchen.
