Satisfying bowl of hot ramen like no other. The garlic oil makes it more sinful but soooo good! Side dishes: fried squid and agedoshi tofu!

My stomach is a bottomless pit, so I knew I had to try the Tsukemen when I read “Free Noodle Upsize”.
.
I got the Cha Shu Tsukemen with Nutty Miso ($14.90) initially and that became my standard order ever since. The broth I picked has a robust flavour, slightly sweet and packed with fragrance of nuts. It reminds me of the amazing Dried Sardine Tsukemen I had at Sanpoutei previously! I prefer the thick ramen as it’s more chewy and substantial. But I’m ashamed to say that 2x is the best I can do 🙃
.
If you’re feeling ravenous and craving for carbs, this is what you need 🍜 Get the set which comes with a side and drink to make it the optimal experience 👌🏻

Finally got our ramen fix at @menyamusashisg which tasted really good at first but them became really jelat after awhile as the broth was really thick and salty.
Despite that, I really liked the thinness of the ramen noodles and tenderness of the cha shu in the White 2pc Cha Shu Ramen ($13.90). #menyamushashi #tampinesmall

Silky smooth Chawanmushi topped with charsiew and bits of crabmeat, and seaweed - loved how comforting this was!

Not particularly spectacular but I liked the yakibuta which was chunky with a good bite and a good proportion of fat that made it tender. Light smokiness, slightly peppery but my partner didn't like it 🤷🏻‍♀️ The Tsukemen dip was rich, with hints of nuttiness.

Looking for something soupy and want something a little fancy but not too expensive? No fret because Menya has it. I love Menya's aburi duck ramen (15.90++ with set) as the garlicky black broth has just the right intensity for one to finish all the soup.
I was given about 5 smoked duck pieces, and the slight charring of the pieces further intensified the smoky flavour of the duck. The smoked duck accompanied the ramen perfectly.
However, Menya does not offer much customisation of their ramens other than the thickness of their noodles, which I really wish they did.
