Original Mazedon - $10.80
A rice bowl that’s topped with minced meat, spring onion, chives & seaweed. The onsen egg at the top will help moist the rice when mixing the rice bowl. After tasting the original flavour, you can consider adding in some kokoro homemade vinegar, which I really enjoyed! Will be back for more of such mazedon
Kokoro Menya

Did you know that @menyakokorosg is Tokyo Number 1 Mazesoba (Mixing Ramen) and also the winner of the best Mazesoba 2014 in Japan?

With three outlets in Singapore so far - @sunteccity, @100ammall & @plazasingapura, you can get your cravings satisfied with a variety of Maxesobas/Mazedons to choose from. But if none of that interests you, their Tonkotsu/Mala ramen might do the trick.

👉Mega Tokyo Mazesoba - SGD12.80

Every component in the bowl was calculated to work well together, creating a marriage of flavours. I’ve to admit I’m biased towards Mazesoba🤣.
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Ordered the full ramen with charsiu and flavoured egg (half). The broth was rather light. Charsiu was very slightly charred but not impressive. Nothing in the bowl stood out so overall just an very average bowl of ramen.

The tasty agedashi tofu’s sauce combined with their crispy tofu skin is what triggers my craving and making me order it very often. A little ginger paste of the side for mixing in to enhance the taste. Seriously, my favourite shop.

I ordered it thinking that it’s their original Tokyo Maze-Soba topped with 2 pieces of cheese. However, it came with 1 piece of cheese on top and melted cheese at the bottom of the noodles, a nice surprise. Tastewise, slightly saltier, yums

Mala Mazesoba by @menyakokorosg

It is definitely mala. You'll feel the spicy kick.
The noodles texture is thick but not too gooey.

Char siew was quite tender.

Overall, it is an interesting dish but nothing beats the real mala dish.
