If u prefer non-spicy, can try their signature soba. Hubby order Large and he couldn't finish it. Will return if drop by again.

My 2nd time here, left by a good impression and interesting concept. May be too spicy, but I love the texture. Medium size is sufficient for lady.

This simple bowl of Japanese Oden ($4.80) proved to be a lifesaver whenever the soba/don started to feel a bit heavy. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป The light & refreshing shoyu-based dashi broth helped to cleanse the palate before you continue tucking into the mains. ๐Ÿ˜‹
Together with authentic oden ingredients like soft daikon, chikuwa, satsuma-age (fried fishcake) & konbu (seaweed), this was indeed a tummy and heart-warming bowl! ๐Ÿ’•
Tamagoyaki got a fancy makeover here! ๐Ÿณ Mentai Tamagoyaki ($4.80) will get those with an adventurous taste bud satisfied with a good mix of sweet & savoury. โœŒ๐Ÿป I personally felt that the bonito flakes sprinkled atop stole the show as the smoky savoury taste was extremely distinct as compared to the mellow sweetness of the omelette which was really faint. ๐Ÿ˜” The mentaiko flavours could definitely be stronger to make a point.
Texture-wise, the fried batter made this a firm chunk that was reminiscent of fried beancurd - I personally would have preferred it to be softer & more moist like an original tamagoyaki. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I had really high expectations for this but was left disappointed as the chives were overwhelming and didn't go well with the rest of the ingredients.

This was a disappointment. Itโ€™s way too peppery and salty. Friends and I all preferred mazesoba at Kajiken instead.

We were there during the second bowl 50% off promo which made it a bit better. But Iโ€™m certain that we will not return again.

This is also slightly spicy.

I've always been eating the Maze-sobas at @menyakokorosg since that is their signature! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Little did I know that I have been missing out on their Maze-dons ๐Ÿ› that are equally tasty!! ๐Ÿคค
Tried their new Curry Beef Maze-Don ($15.80) & it comes close to being my personal favourite! โคโคโค The sweet curry sauce doused on the fluffy Japanese white rice ๐Ÿš really carried the bowl very well. Topped with thinly-sliced beef that are not too tough or chewy, this certainly made a delicious bowl! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
It may look ordinary but trust me, it tastes so good that I couldnโ€™t resist having a few more mouthfuls of rice! ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹ Definitely recommended! โœ”
