I read so much about the lobster noodle at Mian Jia and was stoked to give it a shot! The broth was rich and savoury. However, it’s pretty expensive for a bowl of noodles, but what to do it’s lobster after all.

We ordered these with “egg noodles”, which we did not realise was instant noodles. The sauce was average, but the addition of the shallots + scallions gave it more flavour. We enjoyed the homemade wantons which was plump and juicy, filled with minced meat and chives. Would probably revisit to try their you mian, but definitely not going to opt for egg noodles again.

15 dollars seems quite hefty but the iberico pork is really flavoursome and earthy and lifts the dish beyond what you might expect. Simple food executed well at this cafe.

I can't remember being disappointed here. This was another excellent dish. Pork balls were delicious, while prawn balls were even better, delivering full-flavoured, 100% prawns. Soup was spicy and numbing, and might not be everyone's thing.

Passing the junction in front of Alexander Centre always seeing this noodle house, so today Zi decided to give it a try.

I got this because I’m looking for some spicy food. The portion wasn’t huge but enough to enjoy the taste.

Comes with 3 wantons with generous fillings. As for the taste, it is spicy but not overly and you could have the mala feel. $8.90+

Plump dumpling with foie gras infused minced meat filling. Love the thin soft dumpling skin!
