Behind this stall was a young couple serving up a variety of noodles like handmade you mian / ban mian / mee hoon kueh, Hong Kong mee, cintan mee, bee hoon and mee sua with choices of toppings / ingredients such as prawns, abalone clams, sliced fish or fish maw.

We ordered the dry handmade mee hoon kueh with prawns and abalone clams that came drizzled with a thick and savoury dark sauce that goes very well with their house-made chilli sauce. The meatballs were soft and the use of fried shallots also add fragrance / flavour to it 》$5 Each

Hidden at the back of Hong Lim Food Centre on the 1st floor, you will find this noodle stall serving their house made noodle.

The hong kong mee got its chewy bite taste and pair well with the soup. There’s also pieces of meatballs and ikan bilis, together with lots of veggies. $4.50

Signature Handmade Ban Mian (Dry) with Prawns paints a more appetising picture with its dark sauce and prawns. The banmian was well-coated in the savoury gravy and had a good bite.

light and sweet broth, noodles texture was 10/10. minced meat was well seasoned and sliced fish was very nice to bite. love the mani cai that was used as well.

So I tried Mian Zhuang 麵荘 twice – at Hong Lim food centre and delivery; and also recommended a few friends to the stall. They gave it the thumbs up.

What is noteworthy is that Mian Zhuang 麵荘 uses noodles made from scratch daily and not bought from any factory, and is healthier without added preservatives.

I ordered a Mee Hoon Kueh with Fish, and noted that the uncle serving it drizzled some black sauce in a circular motion at the end.

This was the sauce that made quite a bit of difference – thick, savoury and packed with flavours.

The self-blended chilli was also rather spicy, but very shiok and added a bit helped ‘lift’ the overall taste.

They provide islandwide delivery as well. All fees go to the riders.
