A weekend special. The key lime filling was too sweet - wished it was tart instead of sweet.

Will not get this again and it was not cheap.

𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭 ($20): Hearty spread that included a slice of country sourdough, sautéed mushrooms, generously-sized bockwurst sausage, scrambled eggs, hummus, and pickles. Our favourite was the silky eggs and sautéed mushrooms - tasty and well done. The sourdough had a subtle and not overpowering sour tang and was nicely toasted. That said, there are distinct fermentation and shaping issues. It was also slightly dense, but alright when paired with the heavier breakfast items. Not so much a fan of the hummus and sausage - the natural chickpea flavours were overwhelmed by the pungency of the garlic, and the sausage had the frozen, processed taste 😅.

𝐆𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝 ($16.50) - Enjoyable flatbread that was airy and soft with slight crisp exterior (did wish for slightly more char from the grill). Paired with sage pesto, fresh and juicy roasted and heirloom tomatoes, toasted walnuts, and soft creamy burrata. Did feel that the pesto and burrata were somewhat stingy in portion.

The bread was average, it's pretty hard but everything else was not bad. Ricotta was very fluffy, tomatoes and basil oil worked beautifully together. Heard this branch's bread is one of the worst so can only imagine the other branches' rendition

Pretty basic but gets the job done. Isn't worth anywhere close to 7 though, but I'm just glad it isn't one of those diluted ones with barely any cream. Drink fast because you don't want this to be any more diluted

Caught up with pri school friends over Micro Bakery’s bakes - finally trying! First time here so we went with the popular ones - House Ricotta Tartine, Grilled Sourdough Flatbread 1 and Nut Butter Toast. Was quite pricey but still a pretty lovely brunch treat. Enjoyed the ricotta tartine most, it had a thick and creamy smooth layer of ricotta on its crusty sourdough. The juicy cherry tomatoes atop also gave a needed pop of sweetness and acidity. Service could be warmer though & make sure to approach one of the staff to get your name on the waiting list for a table if it’s full.
