However, when paired together, the sweetness and nuttiness of the brownie helps lessen the sharpness and change the flavour profile of the coffee.

This cold brew, with orange juice and soda) was refreshing, light and easy to drink even for non-coffee lovers.

Back to try other items on their menu and was certainly not disappointed. Both items were executed well and very enjoyable!

Swing by the iconic Red House for breakfast with the gang — perfect for easties who aren't able to make it to the original outlet at Serene Centre. Share the delectable Grilled Cheese ($12) that’s balanced with sauerkraut and tomato jam, as well as their House Ricotta Tartine ($12) featuring smooth, house-made ricotta and delightfully tangy sourdough toast. Alternatively, go for the Scrambled Free-range Eggs ($14) and add on a side of Avocado ($3). Wash it down with the Long Black ($4.50) or refreshing Pink Lemongrass drink ($5).

Grilled 3-Cheese - the perfect cheesy combination of Brie/cheddar/mozzarella, with a thoughtful addition of sauerkraut and tomato jam on the side to cut through the richness. Almost stole the show from the chewy golden brown toast. Loved that this wasn’t greasy at all.

Ended the meal with the Special Toast - a delightful combination of sweet fragrant milk toast with incredibly smooth ricotta and a well-balanced sweet/ tangy strawberry-rhubarb jam.

I love fresh bakes! It was rather difficult to decide what to order cos I wanted to try so many things. Settled for a cherry scone that was served with whipped butter and jam. I like the crusty scone but wish it was a little more moist inside. But the butter and jam complemented it well and overall, it tasted good.
