Each participating restaurant will showcase a lineup of dishes that has been paired or infused with Martellβs icon and complex XO cognac, the Martell Cordon Bleu. Over at Mimi Restaurant, known for their modern interpretation of Chinese cuisine, diners can enjoy the 5-course Martell menu ($200++ per pax, minimum order of 2 pax).
The first course is the Treasure of the Sea with Shredded Sea Cucumber that has been infused with Martell VSOP as a palate opener which is further accentuated with the equally refreshing Sichuan Ma-la Beef Short-Ribs with Watermelon, infused with Martell Cordon Bleu. The beef short-ribs has the familiar spicy numbing sensation while the cognac gave it a nice after-sweetness.
Another gem of the ocean is the Braised Abalone with Kurobuta Pork Belly served with a crispy mantou and this infused with Martell XO. The final savoury course was a crowd pleaser, the Sticky Rice Wrapped in Lotus with Honey Glazed Cod, paired with Martell Chanteloup XXO. To round off the Martell menu, the restaurant will serve a Hot Dried Rose and Chinese Almond Paste with Martell Noblige-infused Jelly, a wonderful, sweetened end to the meal.

Compared to other Chinese restaurants, their XLB pale in comparison. The fillings, albeit juicy, was not sweet or flavourful enough; tasted pretty blend. The skin tasted floury too. Not a fan of this dish personally.
This dish was very savoury & flavourful - would be perfect with rice really! Generous with ingredients & XO-sauce, but for a plate of vegetables, this may be a little on the pricey side. Still nice to eat though π
Another of their signature is their Saucy Crab and Egg Affair π¦ , featuring chilli crab sauce & egg white sauce served in "yin-yang" style βπ» with mini golden fried mantou buns on the side. Just wished the mantous were crispier; the sauces were rich & flavourful! π
Our favourite dish here was their Crispy Kurobuta Char Siew Bao! π― Love the super crispy exterior of the bun, fried to the perfect golden brown without being overly greasy! π Paired with savoury-sweet Kurobuta pork filling π, this is a must-order!
My friend had arranged a birthday dinner for me here. We ordered a few dishes since I never a big eater. The cocktails were so so for us. Lychee scallops tasted bland. The fried char siew buns and cod fish were nice. I had the osmanthus jelly for dessert which ingredient was solid. And their birthday longevity buns were nicely presented. Will I recommend this restaurant? Yes!
