Priced at SGD4 for 2pcs (as shown on the plate), I like how it’s crispy on the outside, smooth on the inside.

If you know of any other places to get Stinky Tofu, please DM me at @whatisdigesting ☺️.

Ordered these together with the fried intestine, fried kway teow and fried mee. Fried intestine and the toufu was goooood. The noodles so so only. The toufu came in diff size and cut. The biggest one was the best for me... Juicy and crispy and yet I can still taste the toufu inside.

I never knew I could find such legit fermented beancurd, or better known as 臭豆腐, in Singapore until I came across Mini Star Fermented Beancurd. On the menu are the original fermented beancurd, the mala ones which are made from the original cut into cubes before frying and the thin slices that gave such crispiness, although we found them to be slightly lacking on the ‘smelliness’ as compared to the former 2. Our favourite was the Mala ones, both stinkiness and crispiness were on point, considering that they delivered from Geylang to Jurong. You can simply dip one into their specialty homemade Mala sauce, though could do more with both numbness and spiciness, and pop it into your mouth!

Other than the fermented beancurd, they are also serving some snacks like the soft shell crab prata, some zi char dishes and mains, as well as desserts. Kudos for the superb service! Even with overwhelming orders and even having to stop taking in orders for a while, they got back to me once they resumed service again. Delivery charges are at $10 for West, and $8 for the rest. Do check them out on Facebook and PM them for ordering.

This is probably the only famous restaurant in Singapore that sells authentic fermented beancurd (based on what I googled 😂).

Crispy on the outside, soft and silky on the inside. My only gripe is that the sauce didn’t elevate the flavour much...

This stinky tofu have been around since my parents time and they raved how good it is. I have tried pasar malam stinky tofu but they were not authentic.

After a karaoke session with my friends, I coincidentally saw Mini Star while heading back. What's more, they are still opened at 11.40pm. Hence, after all these years of my parents saying how good it is, I decided to give it a try.

When the tofu, it is not as smelly as I expected. The fermentation bring extra crispy to tofu. I would say it is a decent dish.

It would say it is good for trying and not for everyday eat as it cost $4 for just beancurd.

Most sinful yet delicious supper you can get your hands on - love how perfectly crispy the exterior is while inside stay moist and soft! Dip it into their homemade Chili and sweet sauce, you would want to have the whole portion (or two) all to yourself!
