Melts in the mouth. I just found my favourite omakase japanese restaurant in Singapore.

This was a very very decent #omakase from @miraku_sg - $68 for a 15 course lunch incl 3 appetisers, 9 pcs of nigiri sushi incl THAT UNI 😍😍, wagyu sukiyaki /w onsen egg, soup w homemade fish paste, & ice cream of plum, shiso & perilla. foodporn heh

I must also mention the trio of appetisers we started with: a fresh, zingy salad, a little cube of fish jelly, and a comforting braised wagyu in red miso which left me wanting more.

The meal concluded with miso soup – could've done with slightly less salt – and a refreshing plum shiso leaf sorbet.

You'd be hard-pressed to find an omakase meal as value-for-money as Miraku's 15 Course Lunch ($68).

Expect hints of citrus and a myriad of delightful textures. Portions are on the smaller side, but the meal left me feeling satiated. It was, to put it simply, "just nice",

I could go on and on about the gloriously fatty ootoro – marbled, pink, and pale – and the smooth and luscious mouthfeel of the wagyu sukiyaki with onsen egg.

But of course, how could I not wax lyrical about the pièce de résistance, uni nigiri? It was akin to an ocean's kiss, its briny sweetness unparalleled by any other.

Had a very good Omakase here. Unfortunately Burpple does not allow more than one photograph I’m unable to show all items. All items are fresh and well cooked. Like the wagyu beef dish that was very tender, tasty and the amount of food overall is worth the price.

Was pleasantly surprised with the quality and freshness of the seafood used here. Pace was comfortable, not too fast unlike some other places. My favourites are the seambream with shio kombu and the amberjack with truffle soya sauce. The whole omakase experience consists of 1 handroll, an appetiser, red miso soup and ice cream at the end. Considering the price, overall, the omakase was pretty worth it although the rice portion was rather small.
