Had the Misato Oyakodon Set ($17.90), Sudachi Cha ($17.90), Matcha Bavarois ($9.90) & Sanshoku Warabi Mochi ($10.90).

The Oyakodon was eggy and has the rice used is short grain rice which is delicious.

Sudachi Cha is lime soba with a bunny radish on top. It is a creative idea which my friend liked it. I am not a person who eat cold dish as a main so not my cup of tea.

Matcha Bavarois is like a pudding which is delicious.

Lastly, had the Mochi which they made it themselves. The Mochi is like clear whitish and quite slippery to eat with the utensils provided. Would suggested they provide metal work instead. The matcha was my favourite with the bitterness of the matcha taste.

Spent a total of $66.62 which I find it worth for the quality of the food.

Tried this jap place after reading good reviews! Ordered the highly rated okonomiyaki ($17.90++). Quite tasty but recommend to share it with 2-3 pax as it is pretty filling. Love the charred and crispy bits at the bottom of the pancake.

Reached about 6pm which is the time the restaurant opens for the evening, and there is already a long queue forming. Managed to get the first seating. The food and service never disappoint. I particularly love the exquisite tableware which served the food.

This teriyaki chicken is tender and not too salty with the sauce drizzled on top. The Japanese leek is pleasantly sweet and crunchy.

Lives up to the hype. The coating were super legit too(matcha is bitter and not at all sweet, sesame was very strong).

Mochi itself was so damn soft(it doesn't hold its shape and is quite a pain to scoop w the fork haha) and has the slightest chew

Overall: there's a damn good reason why they were in debt lol. Their stuff is truly quality, from the utensils and bowls to the raw ingredients. I mean a lot of places try to make haute cuisine available to the masses but they literally serve such dishes at centrepoint(with limited crowd flow) at very affordable prices, it's a wonder they're able to sustain without being full house everyday. Fortunately it seems they've been raising their prices lately, which at least helps them to survive and continue to offer such great authentic food

I'm not a fan of light tasting food but this, I can appreciate. The soba had a firm and smooth texture, and the accompaniment were mild tasting but completed the experience. Given the rest of their stuff I have no doubt this is authentic too, I'm sure the noodles are either imported or homemade

The only place ive seen that serves this regional dish. The last time I had it in Japan was so many years ago so I can't really compare, but this was good.

It's not the 38++ anymore but it's still a steal for proper A5. Though don't expect something that's highly refined, it's comfort food basically. Juicy beef, konnyaku, mushrooms and mochi coated in a superb sweet salty miso. Never thought I would have this again and honestly for this price it's quite ridiculous that you can try something so authentic, esp w the quality of the raw ingredients

Once the miso starts bubbling, be on your toes and start flipping stuff, you don't want to overcook the beef espcially
