MISS Coffee & Toast

Passed by this cafe and decided to try it out. Cozy and spacious ambiance. The girl at the counter wasn’t friendly nor helpful in suggesting what to have. So we decided to go for the classic honey toast. The girl didn’t inform that we could choose the ice cream flavour so we were served 2 scoops of vanilla, only found out when another lady told us (presumedly the boss?).
In frame: MISS Classic Honey Toast served with Kapiti ice cream, cream and honey. Crispy exterior and soft on the inside. Poured a bit of honey over and felt it was way too sweet, so don’t pour it all at one go.

For a perfect sunny day brunch meal, here's the place. Cosy-ly decorated modern cafe with a huge bear doll and "queen" chair is perfect for your weekend friend gathering event or when you just wanting to get a hip Instagram worthy weekend photos.

All food and beverage orders must be done in the cashier inside. We decided to order Egg Benedict with Chicken Ham and Smoked Salmon (RM13) and Big Breakfast (RM16). Personally I fell in love with their Egg Benedict menu. Served with thick slice of toast and topped with 2 "lava" egg benedict that can pop and melt in your mouth. It's not a "jelak" meal after all, in fact I have no problem in gulping it all down by myself! The key is in the lemon juice. They use lemon juice to complement the egg yolk sauce that drenching the toast, combination of tangy and savoury taste from the sauce is just 👌🏻

Nothing much to shout about the Big Breakfast, the portion is quite huge with lots of protein to satisfy those starving brunch tummy.

For the drink, the staff recommended flower tea to me which I agreed on to give their Lohas Goji Berry Tea (Rm13) a try. Served in a beautiful glass pot, the tea is freshly brewed before your eyes with all natural ingredients such as rose buds, goji berry and dried longan. It was a comforting and refreshing drink at the same time :) Their Matcha Soymilk (RM12 - cold) is also something that you may want to give a try, definitely not your ordinary green tea latte. The soymilk flavour is there but not too prominent.

We decided to end our brunch by ordering one scoop of Kapiti Ice Cream -Black Doris Plum flavour (RM8.5). I chose this flavour because it's a flavour that quite uncommon and it apparently awarded as the best flavour of 2016. You may want to give it a try (with some waffle maybe? 😀 but it's also good on its own). Served with roasted coconut flakes, it gonna left you with the happy tummy afterwards ❤️
