Miyakori Coffee (Bukit Indah)

A friendly and patient staff at Miyakori Cafe was very kind to take me through a detailed description of their coffee. He said that their medium roasted blend of beans are from El Salvador, Sumatra and Brazil. And regardless if it is made into a cappucino or latte, the nutty and chocolatey tasting coffee will leave a pleasantly sweet aftertaste. After finishing up my Instagram-worthy cup of "Cat"puccino, I couldn't agree with him more. Discover this cafe for yourself at 41 Jalan Indah 22/14, Bukit Indah.

Walking into this picturesque little cafe made me feel like I'd suddenly been teleported to Tokyo. No detail was spared to turn this space into the cutest cafe possible. From the cream and cocoa coloured walls to the blonde wooden furniture, and the mural art of adorable illustrated animal characters to the menu plus wooden cutlery, every single aspect carried the "kawaii" theme wonderfully (by the way, Miyakori is an original creation by the Malaysian boss - cool huh?)
The pastries here were just as photogenic in their cuteness. I couldn't resist ordering the Green Tea with Red Bean Cake, Strawberry Shortcake (each at RM12.90) and Miyakori's Brownie with Vanilla Ice-cream (RM10.90). Of the three, the brownie came out tops for me as it's a very dark chocolatey flavour and was crunchy on the outside having been heated up in the oven before serving. The Strawberry Shortcake was alright, but I wouldn't order the Green Tea again as it's a little on the dry side.
