MIZ Japanese Restaurant is a hidden gem in Kampong Bahru that serves a wide variety of Japanese cuisine. I highly recommend this Garlic Udon [$8.30] which looks simple but tastes so good! Other rocommended dishes are Mentaiko Mushroom [$11.30], Oyster Dynamite [$10] and Kaisen Toku [$21.90]. Please read my review at www.hungryghost.sg

the set lunch comes with a bowl of salad and miso soup. i like my rice moist so this was perfect with the egg. the chicken is so tender and i have no idea what those yellow strands are but they went so well with the rice!!!!

Garlic butter udon with salmon sashimi
Food here is really affordable and pretty authentic for jap cuisines

Rice topped with unagi kabayaki with omelet egg strips and a sexy egg yolk.

There was something wrong with their.. idk what machine.... which they kept forgetting our orders. Hard to get their attention as they really short staffed. Have to repeatedly go through the process of getting their attention so as to find our missing orders. On the other hand, their oysters special looks interesting but we were too..... *insert feelings* to eat anymore as they forgot my negitoro handroll which was they 3rd item they missed out....

Nothing interesting here, wouldn't be here if there wasn't a Groupon deal. It was a large piece of grilled Gindara but the nakajima still beats it hands down, quality and price wise. I could have 2 sets over there for a $30 ++ one here.
