Food 8/10 (do read below for those ordering pork**)
Service 0.1/10 (burpple biased service)

Enquired with staff on Burpple options as usal. Staff said there's no item M12 - M14. Staff state that everyone ask about it and I shouldn't ask about it as it's not in the menu. Staff state that she knows Burpple shows it but they don't have. So aggressive, relax man..

Ordered M11?.BBQ pork, M4.beef pho, and bahn mi.
**BBQ pork came, doesn't have steam egg because - Burpple.
This is not stated and staff did not mentioned when ordering. Thought she very clear one.

Paying the bill. Cashier says 1 for 1 applies for the BahnMi and M4 beef pho. (so where's my egg ah?)
We asked the cashier to clarify this with the staff.
The staff gear up her aggressiveness and says its shown clearly on the T&C of Burpple, making a commotion in the small restaurant which is very uncomfortable.

I showed her the Burpple app, since she's very clear of the T&C but she didn't want to see. And also told her when I enquired with her what's applicable she said its the M-items.

Overall the fact shown in the app and what she mentioned earlier, have triumph over her aggressive attitude.
She chanted "NRVERMIND THIS TIME I GIVE YOU, NO MORE NEXT TIME" as she went back to the kitchen.

Enjoy the food. Cheers.

I’m happy to say that they serve good banh mi! The baguette was really fresh and delicious (we saw them coming out from the oven). It was nice and crusty, with a fluffy interior. The crisp tofu was silky inside and great as well, but the bread definitely stole the show!

The barbecued sliced pork was a bit too charred, but it wasn’t dry and was flavourful. Enjoyed the springy rice noodles with peanuts and shallots that added crunch and fragrance to the dish. Sauce was tangy and savoury; the herbs and vegetables gave a refreshing taste. Liked this, but I think my favourite will still be from uncle ho’s tuckshop at Pasir Panjang!

When we reached slightly before 12 on a weekday lunch afternoon, the restaurant was not too crowded. There was indoor and outdoor sittings. It was pretty windy outdoors.

Dishes we ordered:
M9. Bo Kho ($12.90) - Vietnamese beef stew with lemongrass, carrots, herbs and spices. Served with baguette or rice vermicelli.

M12. Thit Kho ($12.50) - Pork cooked with tangy spiced caramel sauce in claypot. Served with rice.

Portions were filling. Plenty of meat, especially in the Thit Kho dish. It was reminiscent of the Chinese Kong Bak, albeit a more peppery version. So much meat that we ordered another bowl of rice to go with it! Do note that an extra bowl of rice costs $3 though.

Pork was barbecued with the right amount of flavour and I really enjoyed this dish down to the very last bite!

Egg wasnt too impressive but god damn the pork was sexy. Reasonably tender, and super well charred with a sweet marinade. Esp loved the crunchy blackened bits. So good!
