Had the most magical experience with this cocktail at @mockingtales. The Mermaid Tears (THB420/S$17.70) had a base gin with Midori liquor mixed melon syrup and though I’m not a fan of melon, it went really well together

This mystical themed cafe serves the coolest desserts & drinks and the Inferno Mountain (THB480/S$20.20) was one of them 🔥 Not only was this dessert massive, but it also took us through the most jaw-dropping experience.
First, a red liquid mimicking lava was poured at the tip of the chocolate mountain. It was then followed by a flaming Cointreau, which melted the chocolate layer and revealed 3 scoops of ice-cream that we chose and a brownie inside. #mockingtales #cafe
Desserts here at Mocking Tales have hipster names such as Poison Apple (THB260) and Hidden Triton's Horn (THB380), both pictured.

Nothing like the Snow White's poisonous apple, the baked apple dessert is pleasantly sweet, with a refreshing touch of apple sorbet and added crunch from the caramel crumble. Certainly prefer this to the other dish as the cake lacks moisture and could do with more flowing lava. A cool place to chill in, nonetheless.

Have your coffee milky or sweet, both have a light body so may not appeal to all. Having said that, the strawberry tonic coffee is pretty interesting - coffee with a hint of sweet, fruity note.
