Mohamed Sultan Road Hot & Cold Cheng Tng (Zion Riverside Food Centre)

Great dessert on a Hot Sunny Afternoon, which has been more frequent recently.

Refreshing and cheap

Cheng tng so good that I actually had two bowls of it. Each bowl costs $1.50 and there is quite a difference between the cold and hot option. The hot bowl has all the usual condiments like longan soup, dried longan whereas for the cold one has canned lychee and longan, and instead of longan soup, the stall owner added some sort of syrup.

This is my all time favourite cheng tng in Singapore. Love the refreshing taste and the ingredients used especially the tender ginkgo nut. Owner runs the stall single-handedly which was passed down from his father, collectively selling & using the same recipe for around 50 years.

Warm sweet dessert, a classic choice. $1.50 each.

Here to enjoy this super shiok Cheng Teng on our running session. Shiok daoooo~ got lychee & longan~ uncle charged cheaper! Haha! So nice.
