Was in the area after having the famous Geylang beef kway teow, and decided to try some dimsum here, as this place has been on my radar for awhile. The hargaos were really fresh and juicy, packed to the brim with fresh sweet prawn. The egg tarts were pretty decent too! Prices are pretty affordable as well.

Late-night food you said? Dim sums are easy to digest and really nice to have any time of the day! The congee was surprisingly good that day. On the side note, I asked for garlic stir-fried veg to go with these pork/shrimp-heavy meal, which is not really on the menu but aunty is willing to comply thankfully!

The Pan-fried Carrot Cake - The fragrant carrot cake was charred on the outside, and held a slight crisp on the edges. The white radish within was adequately soft!

Everything in the picture was bad I honestly don’t get what’s all the good reviews about. Only thing acceptable was the liu sha bao but even that was pretty cold but otherwise flavour was not bad. Don’t bother coming down.

Pan-Fried Carrot Cake - $4.20
This is not the usual fried carrot cake, it comes with slices of Chinese sausage inside the carrot cake mixture, giving it an extra boost of flavours. I would recommend to eat it without the chilli first, then with the chilli so you will get a taste of both world. You definitely will rejoice that every bite of the fried carrot cake is crispy crispy. Eat it while it’s hot
