U have to get the sweetened version, because there's this slight enginess and I imagine it would be off putting without some sweetness. It's pretty good and reasonably priced for this portion

I had the one near my hotel at pratunam wan. There's no need to make a special visit to a branch if you're not already near one. However given how many places messes up toast, I guess if you must try one then this is quite reliable

Buttery bread that's crispy and light. The bread itself was good

Egg custard was velvety, like a sauce. The coconut aroma is there but otherwise there's no prominent taste. Not bad though

Maybe standards have dropped but I definitely didn't find this "redolent" lol

Sacrilegious, but I found this better than our Hainanese brown kaya. Redolent with coconut and not cloyingly sweet, you'll mop up every bit and still want more.

(We have eaten it twice in bkk and once in Chiang Mai!) Pandan kaya and coconut kaya! Frankly, the two taste almost similar to me, just that one has more fragrant pandan taste. love both! No taro custard again this time because that is only sold on Monday! Two toasts and a cup of milk tea for 95 baht! 🤩 #burpple #burpplebkk #montnomsod #mbkcentre #bkkfood #bkkfoodtrip #spoonsofdelightsbkktrip
