From the Burpple community

Super fatty and juicy. Crackling was quite crispy. The saltiness of this was nicely balanced with the sweetness from the picked raisins and carrots. Quite delicious, worth a try if you’re not too bothered about having fatty meat.

However, it’s quite a small serving, and doesn’t come with any sides - you probably would still feel hungry after.

$26 for this...? I’m not sure if I personally would pay the full price for this - maybe if it at least came with some sides. Fortunately we used the Beyond 1-for-1 deal here so it made it a little more reasonable a price.

We visited on a weekday evening and it was quite busy - they accept reservations here so best if you make one prior to your visit. Service was great.

Roasted Cauliflower is a must try. Slightly charred, crunchy and sitting on creamy sauce 😋.

We found lovely Mediterranean food right outside Telok Ayer MRT exit A! ✅

They're available for #burpplebeyond 1 for 1 mains.

We had the Pork Jowl and Barramundi ($26++) and Roasted Cauliflower ($14++).

The Pork Jowl is super tender and well marinated. It has a nice layer of fats but it wasn't rubbery. Just melts in your mouth 😋. Very worth it.

Overall, great service but indoor seats can get quite noisy. Best to reserve a seat too.

This was tasty. The fish was fresh, its meat soft, and the confit tomatoes were delicious. However, it’s quite a small serving, and doesn’t come with any sides - you probably would still feel hungry after.

Felt like there was still space for a bit more, so we decided to get a little snack. Looked around Burpple, and decided on the Crispy Spiced Pig’s Ears ($10++). Very crispy indeed, with some satisfying chew from the cartilage and coated with an addictive spice powder! No wonder it’s popular!

We had the @entertainersg 1 for 1 vouchers, so ordered 2 Australian Striploin Steaks to share ($40++ each). The steak was thick cut with a nice melted herb butter, beefy and tasty, but was rather tough despite the medium rare doneness. Seasoning tended to the saltier side too.

In all, the food here is good and value if you use the entertainer or chope deals, but I’d only come back for the burger. There are much better steaks out there for the full price.
