Opted for the rice patties as I personally felt that the Japanese curry sauce would complement rice better instead of buns. Encased between the two rice patties comes a thick slab of chicken katsu, topped with keema curry, white cabbage slaw and mayonnaise. Although the keema curry was fragrant, aromatic and flavourful with a tinge of spice, the portion could have been more generous to curb the dryness in the rice patties that kicks in gradually. Apart from the sauce, I was also pleasantly impressed with the chicken katsu that was breaded and deep fried to an ideal crisp perfection,’filled with tender, juicy minced chicken grounded into a patty (swipe to view). On the other hand, the cabbage slaw and mayonnaise seemed to be rather redundant here as I personally felt that the chicken katsu and keema curry would be suffice for a satisfying and pleasant meal. .

The scallop cutlet was deep fried to a crisp, breaded golden brown exterior, encasing fresh, juicy and plump scallop (swipe to view) which could have been more generous in portion đŸ˜…. Nevertheless, as a fan of scallops, I still enjoyed this burger, though I would personally prefer having it without the tartar sauce as it imparted an unpleasant sogginess to the scallops cutlet after some time. Buns are soft, fluffy and smeared with butter that provided a characteristic fragrance. Among all fast food chains, @mosburgersg remains my favourite joint to satisfy my burger cravings but if only the portion could be bigger ... .

Still one of my favourite fast food chains, Mos Burger's teriyaki chicken burger, corn soup and their chunky fries are my go-to comfort food! Though it might not be as popular or offer a wider variety than the other chains, I think Mos Burger is consistent and reliable!

Back by popular demand, MOS Burger relaunch the Saba Rice Burger that combines succulent Saba fish, Kabayaki sauce and crispy Nori.
