An old favourite, this is a flamboyant version of the chocolate pancake, with the same warm chocolatey oozey interior, but with crunchy bits for a delightful nutty crunch in every bite.

I like having this for breakfast. The creamy egg mayo and mildly sweet pancake dough go well together.

As part of the Christmas promo, all wholegrain mixed rice bowl with classic soy milk are going at $5.50 instead of $8.80. The teriyaki chicken is tender and tasty. It would be a perfect meal if the rice wasn’t cold and slightly undercooked. The edamame was also quite hard. And the best part, they gave me tau huay instead of soy milk. 🤷🏻‍♂️ No issue if it’s edible, but the tau huay is sourish. I had to throw the whole cup away. 😤

This is for all the people who can’t decide what dessert they want. The 3-in-1 riceballs come with beancurd, soy bean milk, and four glutinous rice balls (sesame and peanut fillings). You can choose your sugar level for the soy milk. For this bowl, I went with 25% which I felt was just right for my tastes. The beancurd is the traditional kind. It’s soft, silky and melts in your mouth. The riceballs are decent but not the best as the skin is a little on the thick and doughy side. I did enjoy how fine the creamy fillings were, although the peanut one might’ve done better with slightly larger peanut chunks. The fillings were neither overly sweet nor bitter in the case of the black sesame, so this is a dish that can be enjoyed by anyone. Very convenient to pick up at any of the Mr Bean outlets if you’re craving some good ol’ local desserts and can’t make up your mind!

Huge huge fan of orh nee (taro paste). So I loved the Mr Bean taro Paste wholemeal pancakes so much that I had it for 3 times that week! But am not too sure about the oreo cheese one though, the flavours don't blend too well.
