Yay, I got the last piece of their second most popular item - Brioche Donut (2,800 Won) 😍

BEST pastries I ever had.

The hazelnut cream cruffin and matcha donut brioche are on point - stuffed with cream and the buttery pastry. 😌 #ebseoulhangry

Hailing from San Francisco, Mr Holmes Bakehouse is most known for its cruffins, which are essentially a combination of croissants and muffins (Geddit? Hahaha). Daily offerings of flavours are written on its glass window outside on a weekly basis and on the day of our visit, it was Apple Refresh, apple and early grey cream filling.

Apart from its shape, its definitely more croissant-like, flaky and quite crisp. The aromatic filling was generous and not cloyingly sweet but I don't think it's worth a special trip down unless if you happen to pass by! The space is lovely to chill in.

Don't think we've ever seen such a huge chunk of chocolate in a croissant before – not that were complaining! Love how crisp and flaky Bakehouse's croissants are, combined with rich milk chocolate – you sure don't say no to that! #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul

One of the famed products that draw the crowds at Mr. Holmes Bakehouse is this brioche donut, and we can see why. So incredibly soft and fluffy, this pillowy brioche cloud is stuffed with custard and a light and airy chocolate mousse, and powdered with icing sugar on the outside. #GourmetAdventuresInSeoul
