Those pork belly in our kuay jub was so good that we ordered another plate to share. Crunchy and crispy skin with very soft and moist meat, served with sweet dark soy sauce. This was even better than our sio bak (roasted pork) we have in SG 》฿60
The top part was perfectly crisp and crackling, and paired with the tender meat and soft fats, it’s a perfect piece of meaty goodness. Located a bit far off from everywhere else, one needs to take a taxi to get there but it’s worth the travel if you’re a true pork lover. They’re also known for their kway chap with its soft noodles & peppery soup. There’s either the innerds option of just the soup with the pork.
