The good & the bad; Truffle Fries ($8++) were marginally addictive, Chicken Chunks ($10++) were abysmal.

I have a HUGE issue with food being served & not matching what's on the menu.

These are not shoestring fries. My accompanying mayonnaise with the chicken chunks never appeared (at least the nacho cheese did). & I have doubts on whether tempura flour was actually used for the chicken chunks.

I don't eat fried food - the only exception being French Fries & actual tempura battered things. Needless to say I was pretty disappointed on the whole.

Decent food, yummy cocktails and friendly staff and bartender! Really nice place to chill at!

It is aesthetically beautiful and captivating but the taste is quite dry and didn't quite capture and burn my heart... it is a nice gastropub with good ambience though! $16 is a bit on the expensive side too. 🐳 MerRyan is satisfied. #merlion #merryansg #singapore #tiramisu #burpple

Custard battered fresh squid, marmite glazed for an umami finish. We love the special unique taste, very similar to that of the sweet & sour pork. We call this: ε’•ε™œsquid
Pork Collar Square. Tenderly moist pork collar marinated in mysteriously sweet sauce. Yummy
Drunken Duck. Soaked in brine & korean makgeolli wine, pan-seared. Though the slices were soft, I didn't really like this as it had the ιͺš taste & a little too raw for me

brandy. cinnamon. cloves. Soothing!
In Cider ($28)
.Frozen margarita. lime. raspberry cider. Refreshing!

This is such a promising dish especially with that alluring Boston lobster topped with mentaiko and served with gruyere cheese and toasted brioche.
The lobster was however strangely fishy, possibly due to either the mentaiko or the lobster flesh itself. It's a pity, cos this could have been their highlight. We had provided the feedback and I'll watch out for other reviews to see if this was fixed in subsequent plates served.
This is taken during a tasting.
