The burpple deal comes with a bowl of Pho (chicken / beef) and one choice of side dishes. We had 2 different choices for the sides, meatballs and spring roll both are great!
We got the $32 Burpple beyond set, which was pretty worth it with a main pho, side dish, drink, and dessert. The soup was flavourful and as good as the ones I had in Vietnam! The flan dessert was also creamy with a nice caramel taste.
The custard pudding was wobbly yet quite firm. Not too sweet, which was great. The caramel sauce on top was also not too sugary, which made this dessert easy to eat and not overwhelmingly sweet.
I personally would’ve preferred if they didn’t use disposable plastic spoons to serve dine-in customers. Same with the drinks too, they used disposable cups with covers.
We got this as part of the $32 (GST already included!) Burpple Beyond deal, which comes with 2 pho’s, 2 side dishes, 2 drinks and 2 desserts! Quite a reasonable deal.
The Summer Ice Tea was refreshing and balanced the saltiness from the pho well. I liked the yogurt cooler, it was liquid yogurt - thick and sweet. Unfortunately the cup was kind of small and there was a considerable amount of ice in it.
Both drinks were pretty fine. I personally would’ve preferred if they didn’t use plastic cups and covers for dine-in customers.

Meatballs were chewy and pretty tasty. Spring rolls were crispy and I really liked that they were served hot.

Soup was fragrant and not too salty. The rice noodles were soft and silky. There was a reasonable amount of beef slices as well. They don’t really pile your bowl with leaves and sprouts - fortunately or unfortunately, is up to you :P Serving size is quite standard.
We also got the Chicken Pho which was equally good as well.
