Soft flaky white fish coated in Asahi white beer batter served with fries, homemade yuzu tartar sauce & lemon wedges 》$14

Tbh, I was quite afraid that it would have a burnt taste when I saw how dark the exterior of the fish looks when it was served to us. Thankfully it turned out good! Crispy on the exterior and tender soft inside. Dip into their homemade tartar sauce to make it complete.

Our portion comes with 3 pieces of fish and chips that is actually good for a extremely hungry person or for sharing. We ordered this to share together with a pasta which was just nice for our bellies.

Plump and crunchy prawns with al-dente spaghetti tossed in sliced garilc, olive oil, chilli flakes, chopped parsley & sun-dried tomatoes and topped with parmesan cheese 》$12 Aglio Olio + $5 Prawn

Bought chope voucher for this!
Got both medium rare and medium for the steaks but i kinda regretted ordering a medium. Would recommend medium rare for this :)

$26 (2-3 Pax)

A well-balanced range of desserts, which are all done in-house. They were all of the right sweetness too!

House of MU, which has been serving excellent Josper-grilled meats, is launching a 3 course Christmas menu. But you'll be getting more than 3 dishes, because the main course and dessert course are actually meat platters and dessert platters respectively.
🔸
For starters, choose between the
Angel Hair Pasta with Pan-fried Scallops (+$8 supplement, cover photo) which I personally recommend as it feels like a cold truffled angel hair pasta; the Smoked Salmon & Avocado Salad (second photo); or Caesar Salad with Roquefort & Dried Cranberries (3rd photo).
🔸
The highlight and crowd pleaser would be the "X-MU-S Platter" consisting of their famed Josper-grilled meats, including lamb, turkey breast, honey glazed ham, smoked bratwurst, pork tenderloin, prime ribeye and tiger prawns served with mustard, black pepper and cranberry sauce.
🔸
To end of the 3 course meal is a large "MU Dessert Platter" with slices of xmas log cake, brandied fruit cake, homemade vanilla ice-cream and macarons.

While it costs an additional $8 supplement, its definitely worth it. The pasta is al-dente and the scallops have a great sear without being overcooked. What i thought was truffle on first glance actually turned out to be kombu, where its umami properties combined well to heighten the entire dish.
