Freaking love the Breakfast and California burritos! Yummy and value for money!

Finally here after all the good things I’ve heard about this place. Headed down to their old outlet 2 years back and when we were there, it was closed. So am back at the new outlet trying it for the first time. That’s two years of built up expectations!

Sadly, i was extremely disappointed. Ordered the Carne Asada Burrito ($13.50) and Pescador Quesadilla ($12) which is the fish. Burrito kinda reminded me of stuff’d .. there was nothing spectacular about it despite people saying this burrito is amazing and the best in SG. Mehh no flavour at all, the beef was really tasteless and it was all mushy with no apparent taste and crunch of salsa I was hoping for. Dipping in the sauces barely salvaged the dish. Just plain bad and if i wanted burrito, I can just get it from stuff’d next time at half the price seriously.

The fish quesadilla was a tad better but too oily. It was literally dripping each time I took a bite and the greasy aftertaste was appalling. Taste was also mediocre and nothing to rave about. First and last time I’ll be back at Muchachos.

Getting my Mexican food craving satisfied from this place. This is probably my first burrito wrapped with fish. It doesn’t has a strong taste or flavour mixing with other ingredients inside the burrito, pretty much a very comfortable food I have here.

When you think of fried chicken famous places like Popeyes, KFC and Arnolds come to mind but probably not a Mexican joint called Muchachos located just opposite Amoy street food centre. When I was looking through their menu the buttermilk fried chicken caught my eye and I couldn't help but order it. Crispy, tasty and ridiculously juicy, it is definitely up there with the best fried chicken I've had(Not exaggerating). The pieces of chicken are also generous in size and are really satisfying. While it is a little pricey, 3 pieces for [$16.50], I feel like for the portion size and quality, extremely worth it. Foodie🖖🏼

I've always loved quesadilla for the cheese, and being a fish lover, I naturally chose this. It comes in two halves and wow, it's a really substantial portion! Was quite full after finishing one half already! The fish was chunky and spread throughout, while the melty cheese certainly didn't disappoint! Recommend this if you want a change from the usual pork/beef Mexican food.

We got the Carne Asada fries, a chicken and a fish quesadilla. The Carne Asada fries came with a generous serving of guacamole, steak and cheese sauce 😋 It was a hearty and yummy meal indeed! 😍
