Itโs all but healthy, but the greasiness in this Breakfast Burrito (S$13.50) was what we might commonly find in our breakfast platters: hash browns, eggs and bacon, just to name a few. For those who just woke up with a splitting headache from all the booze the night before, this burrito might just work to get rid of that hangover effect.
This is of the best fries I have ever eaten! Thin fries, with mini steak chunks, guacamole, and queso, as well as sour cream. With these ingredients, the sour cream taste did not come off as strongly, so would definitely prefer if there were slightly more. But the queso added a burst of flavour to this - a cheese plus jalapeรฑo dip, it gave an additional spice-y & spicy kick to it. Because of how generous the sauces and steak were, you could have all of it together with every mouthful of fries you have! (Because who eats one fry at a time...)
One of the more pricey items (the priciest, actually) on their simple menu but its really worth it. Have it as a side to share and it completes the meal.

Hot, toasty quesadilla with generous stuffing of chicken, salsa, sour cream and cheese. I think there was some cilantro as well (and I didnโt fancy this in my quesadilla) but all was still good. This was so enjoyable to eat because it was easy to eat with itโs flat texture, and it was toasty-crispy yet warm and melty at the same time! Would love to try others on the menu.

At Muchachos, the burritos are ridiculously reasonably priced for what you're getting. Starting from $12 a pop for fillings like Carnitas (pork) and Pescado (fish), you can also get the fan-favourite California Burrito ($13.50), which sees steak and fries inside. Burppler halfeaten also likes the Steak Quesadilla "which was warm and cheesy, with chunks of juicy steak." Like fried chicken? Burppler Foodie Foodier recommends the Buttermilk Fried Chicken ($12 for 2 pcs).

Had the pulled pork and chicken tacos, not bad at all. I wish they had an option for hard shell tacos as well.
Also had their elote, grilled corn with mayo and cojita cheese. It was okay, I wouldnโt order it again though.
Lastly the steak quesadilla was average. A cheese lover like me should enjoy this, but the cheese inside was half melted while the other half was a mushy, crumbly mess that resembled goat or cojita cheese. Not a pleasant texture at all.
I loved how well toasted and cheesy the quesadilla was inside. More importantly, there was a considerable amount of crispy fish! Definitely more than Guzman y Gomez but not by a lot.
I also thought the portion size was quite big until I realised that 50% of each half is actually just the tail end of the tortilla with no filling inside... ๐ญ Also, the fish didn't taste that fresh.
Just wish that they could take their pricing down a notch because $12 for this is pretty pricey.
