3 deli set: 2 cold, 1 hot side dish, grain rice, carrot soup is $14++ but adding on a coffee and dessert is ard $23, it’s kinda expensive considering its size and there’s nothing super special about it. The portion is similar to portion sizes in japan so if u’re a big eater this might not really be a lot for you. It’s ideal for small eaters like me, presentation is rly pretty and minimalistic too. Service is good. The place is quiet and ideal for those who enjoy a quiet place to talk

Like how clean and healthy the food is. But the braised beef was a bit too plain for me

I was recommended by my friend for this. Mellow sweetness of purple potato Fluffy green tea sponge layered cream coupled with candied with light matcha cream, azuki chestnut treats on a slice of light, bean filling, and dusted with fine fluffy chestnut swiss roll.

Perfect for dessert after meal. Contain alcohol. $8.90

Is Christmas season once again and of course MUJI Café introduced their festive set meal once again.

The set comes with 4 deli dishes, 16 grain rice and choice of soup.

The 4 deli dishes are beef au gratin, baked chicken mid wing umami, chicken salad and pineapple & mozzarella cheese salad.

Not so heavy meal but healthy and light one. Available until 31 December 2020. $18.80

Is this just expensive cai fan? Maybe, but it’s absolutely worth the price to get cai fan with quality sides that are fresh, healthy, neither oily nor salty, and taste delicious.

This set gets you a choice of rice, 2 cold sides, 1 warm side, and a soup. The cold dishes were refreshing, and the warm dishes were hearty. My choices were:
🍚 16-grain rice (it’s either this or white rice or a bun)
🥦 prawn cous cous salad with yuzu-sesame dressing: fresh-tasting, the broccoli and prawns both have a great bite
🥚 vegetable omelette: this is packed with edamame, corn, carrots and mushrooms, which provided wonderful texture in every mouthful in the midst of plenty of egg
🍘 tofu patty with shiitake mushroom sauce: this was the only dish I wouldn’t shout about. It’s not bad, but I’ve had less dry tofu patties. The other meaty warm sides looked good though.
🥕 carrot and cumin soup: fragrant with the sweetness of carrots and creamy but not overly so

Overall a good and satisfying meal! Only downside was the lack of staff that resulted in long queue despite there being many empty seats (I went early, the seats get filled up at dinner time and the queue gets correspondingly longer).

Pricey! Thankfully it was a treat by my manager after ending my internship so I enjoyed the meal 😍 lots of greens and miso soup was oishi. Will definitely try more of their stuff next time!
