This is supposed to be a set, priced at $12 plus for takeaway. Not worth the money. You get better quality food and bigger portion elsewhere.
If you're in the east, swing by for a hearty dish of Budae Jjigae ($14.90 for 1 pax, $45.90 for 2-3pax). The flavourful broth comes with an array of ingredients like baked beans, chicken slices, chicken luncheon meat, straw mushrooms, instant noodles and crab sticks. While the restaurant does not offer the usual ban chan (side dishes), there are other Korean classics, like their Kimchi Jeon ($16) available to fill your tummies.

I liked how this place now has army stew for one ($14.90) so you don’t have to always be in big groups to order army stew. There was a generous portion of ingredients and the soup was flavourful too.
Army Stew is one of the most popular dishes here. And it became my favourite too. Baked beans, chicken slices, chicken luncheon, straw mushrooms, instant noodles, mushrooms, crab sticks etc a good pot of korean stew on a rainy day!
Located within Viva Business Park in Chai Chee, this Halal-certified restaurant is a great go-to when you're in the mood for Korean. On rainy days, it's a no brainer to go for the Budae Jjigae (army stew, $45.90). Good to share among two or three diners, the pot comes with heaping portions of ingredients including chicken, ham, sausage, rice cakes, ramen and kimchi, and the broth boils beautifully down into a lip-smackingly flavourful stew. The restaurant doesn't serve ban chan (side dishes) so you might want to order classic dishes like the Kimchi Jeon (kimchi pancake, $16) to share.
Avg Price: $25 per person
