Wholesome and satisfying Korean army stew that comes with generous amount of cheese! Not too spicy so it’s perfect for non-spicy eaters.

Easties, swing by Downtown East for slightly sweet and spicy Budae Jigae ($13.90 per pax with a min. of two pax). Choose two main ingredients from chicken sausage, sliced beef, cheese, mushrooms or mussels — a good combination would be cheese with mussels. The stew comes with tteokbokki, odeng, kimchi and eggs. Pro-tip: Do not leave the stew boiling for too lest the ingredients start sticking to the bottom of the pot!

Rich broth made even more tantalising with cheese as it bubbles its way down my stomach. Ramen x 3 over rice any day, a pity the soup base cannot be topped up but it’s a good enough amount to satisfy my hunger this rainy day, especially after sliding down the rides in Wild Wild Wet! :)

We were a party of 3. The soup was delicious! We ordered tteobeoki for 3 pax and it was just right. Additional ingredients recommended is the oden and mussels. Drinks not required as they serve complimentary water. Worth the travel all the way to Pasir Ris and vakue for money. Peak period is between 7pm to 8.30pm

😍 Time to visit Mukshidonna to fix your korean food cravings!
What we like about their armystew is that we are able it based on our personal preference, this is definitely suitable for people who loves to design their own armystew.
It is also a good place to gather with your Muslim friends/ colleagues as the restaurant is a halal certified restaurant. 📍 Mukshidonna Singapore

Finally get to lay my hands on this korea-imported brand budaejjigae. It's a fully customizable budaejjigae. You get to choose your toppings and what goes into the stew. They have the basic ones for you to choose from which include cheese, chicken sausage, beef, mushroom and mussels and you can add on mandu, maggie mee etc. I guess what makes this unique was the cheese, which beautifully thicken the stew and have itself coated around the surrounding ingredients! Delicious good stuff do not just end here. Order a set of fried rice and fry it with the remaining stew. Texture of rice was really superb, with flavors from the stew and lingering with seaweed bits and sweet crunchy corns. What a perfect way to end the meal. Oh, did i mention, the restaurant has got themselves halal certified!
