Back for the mlxg cause we had a good experience the first time! This time though, it was a bit too oily and the flavours + fragrance werenโ€™t as impressive. Also thought it needed more peppercorns and chili to up the heat (I had medium spice). Hopefully they work out the consistency issue!

Another ma la stall popped up in Ngee Ann and itโ€™s halal! Prices go by weight here but itโ€™s not too expensive. It was well fried and nicely seasoned without being too salty, with the ingredients soaking up the flavours nicely. Would be even better if they had more peppercorns for that extra kick of โ€˜numbingโ€™ spiciness as their spice levels are milder. Will be back!

It was sogoood that I had to take a bite first before taking a picture of it with all those ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€on me! My 3rd! (Not all at once of course ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜…) Milky n buttery batter ๐Ÿ˜‹ not too much of those pandan, that makes them green colored! (Not sure if those other green waffles from pandan or coloring, y'know)

From the Taiwanese Food stall at Munch at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Batter was a little too thick, but it was quite amazing how these weren't too greasy and were pretty crisp, well seasoned with plum powder and chili powder.

One of my regular breakfasts while I was still schooling in NP. Their Carrot Cakes are freshly fried in the morning so the best time to grab them would be on the way to early morning classes as they would be piping hot. And the reason why they are so good is because of its light crispiness and it has shreds of radishes with lots of tiny bits of lupcheong in it for a bite; just that its also a bit too greasy as well.

This one's from the Nasi Lemak stall at the canteen that I usually frequent. It's decent for school food, and the portion size is rather reasonable. Not sure if the rice is green due to colouring or by the pandan, but it carries its coconut flavour well. The sides were quite fine, such as the ketchup fries with hotdog, chicken cutlet and fried egg here; all of which rather comforting to have.
