CBD-ians, here's a healthy lunch option around the area that won't bust the bank! Treat yourself and a lucky colleague to a protein bowl each, which comes with mains such as the tender Tomato Stew Beef and smoky Grilled Chicken. Pair that with fresh and healthy sides like Tuna Pasta or Corn Bits and you're in for a clean and delicious lunch.

They sure are treating us with the 1-for-1 protein bowls for just 10 bucks!!! In a place where salad is $$$. Happily dug in to this bowl of goodness: tender tomato stew beef, salmon lettuce, corn, tomato pasta! Wiped it clean

honey-fragrant and highly tender. Also pasta doused in sesame sauce was very appetising. Thank you to meal pal for this lunch treat :)

Had this for a quick lunch before heading out of the area, conveniently located in the mrt station.

A small cosy joint with fragrant tender grilled chicken and various salad options. I could choose between chicken breast or chicken thigh and I was spoilt for choice deciding amongst the many salads available. I enjoyed the tuna pasta! Came here twice and it hasn’t disappointed me. You could also use Fave and Entertainer app for discounts! I got my set at 2 for $11.90

Situated along the main road at Shenton way, this humble “healthy-eating” eatery is observably a hit amongst white-collar weight watchers.

My company and I got a rosti and 2 mix-n-match bowls; the rosti comes with a choice of protein while the bowls come with a choice of meat and three sides each. Here’s our verdict:
Rosti: Best of the lot! Came out piping hot with a dollop of sour cream and went well with the salmon.
Proteins: Salmon, barramundi and chicken. Tasty, but cold. Chicken looked a little pale and unappetizing.
Sides: Strangely, the sides were hit-or-misses. The soba, peas and mash were delicious while the other sides were either too bland, raw or bitter (especially the kale!)

Granted, the cold food and diminished number of sides could’ve been due to it being the end of the day. I believe the food here would make a good midday meal!
