[CLOSED] Munch SaladSmith (Paya Lebar Square)

The main reason for munch 's success has to be its tasty, tender chicken and fish mains. What's there not to love about protein loading with some decent salad/pasta sides. However I just can't leave the inefficient service point behind, my second visit to the outlet at paya lebar and this time I am greeted by uncleared tables (I am assuming from the lunch crowd) that made the whole place look shabby.

Just a quick weekday lunch (yesterday) with Dad since it was no-school Tuesday, before my driving lesson. Although we were disturbed by their inefficient service and about to mark this place as a do-not-visit-again, we were actually pleased with the sandwiches we ordered. I had a chicken mayo sandwich where the generous portion of chicken used was fresh and tender. The toast, slightly burned, was good bread and would taste great if it was toasted with care. That made the visit frustrating, we talked about how staff is crucial in a company and here we felt was an example of poorly trained staff hindering your company's potential. #foodforthought Nonetheless, I'm sure other branches of Munch with well-trained service staff would be a pleasant place to grab a hearty meal!

Perfect for omnivores, I think Munch Saladsmith provides the best option there is for those who prefer a balance of meat and vegetables. Protein choices here include German Bratwurst, Salmon, Roasted Chicken and John Dory (as pictured) and a plenty different cold salad sides. Definitely worth a try!

A meat + 2 salad + iced tea offer at 9.90. I got chicken breast, 2 servings of broccoli and upgraded my drink to pink grapefruit juice!
