These milk buns had a v sticky surface. Q soft and milky, slightly sweet - thought it was quite pleasant. Bread is rather fluffy but a bit too squishable. There’s a nice bite to it tho. Idm buying again!

this is from the mochi bread series: banana chocolate! as u can see there’s actual mochi in it (white bit). very indulgent, filling is rich and worth the money compared to any typical bakeries

💸 Black Sesame Mochi: $2.80

We've had Black Sesame bun and bao before, but Black Sesame Mochi Bun🥯 is a first for us. The bun itself was soft and airy, with lots of black sesame filling inside. We liked that the black sesame filling was moist and not grainy, and not too sweet as well😄! Was concerned at first that the mochi might be hard or too plain tasting, but it was soft and chewy, which provided a nice contrast of textures😌. However, we would've preferred if the mochi was more spread out in the bun as ours was just a blob in the middle, which meant that we only got the mochi bits in the middle. Nonetheless, we liked it! ☺️

MuYoo has done it AGAIN. The peanut butter is creamy and thick, and there are so many crunchy whole peanuts scattered inside! AMAZING. The mochi is still the same as previous versions, its just a single block plopped into the bread so it's not so well distributed, but its definitely some of the best mochi I've had in bread. Soft, bouncy, slightly sticky and delicioussss🤩

This, along with the bssm mochi bread, is definitely one of my favourite breads of all time!!

FINALLY got this bun after seeing so many rave reviews about it! Ngl in all the pics, it doesn't exactly look super appetising since it resembles tuna and idk how to feel about tuna and mochi :p

Rest assured though, this definitely does NOT taste like tuna 😂 the custard has a light texture that isn't overly creamy and the earl grey aroma just hits you in the face after microwaving 😍 that, combined with MuYoo's signature soft, sticky mochi, this bun is definitely a hit. The bread is also of the softer variety and has kind of a healthy, wholemeal taste to it, which I liked!

If you're a tea lover, I think you'll like this bun! Definitely one of the better buns I've had from MuYoo.

Tbh I've been seeing this bun on my feed quite a lot and I was super sceptical about it cuz rice in bread?? What kind of carb on carb action is this lmao 🍞🍚 I still decided to try it though, since there's mochi inside and there was the 3 for $5.50 promo.

I was quite surprised at how fragrant the rice was! It had a bit of a coconut milk taste and didnt taste too odd. The mochi was also soft and sticky and pretty generous. The bread had more of a wholemeal taste to it I think? But it was really soft.

However, it's still a bit of an odd combo to me. It was nice to try and really unique but I think I wouldn't get it again. If you're a pulut hitam lover tho, why not give it a shot?
