Happy Bee Hoon | Must try! Spicy, sour, and full of 'hea bee'. Although I am not a very 'hea bee' person, but this is ok for me. I like the sourish flavours of lime, made this a very refreshing bee hoon. [RM3.50]

Hakka noodles tasty as always, coupled with sticky caramelised cuts of thick char siew. What surprised me was the side order of Siew Yuk (from RM12) that had the crackling skin, lean meat and fatty bits to boast. This offshoot of T&R is a prettier, cleaned up version of the former (they prefer not to be associated) and it opens late till 8.30pm. While I'd still return to the old school spot for an indulgent breakfast, dinnertime char siew cravings will definitely take me here instead.

A bowl of Happiness.
Today's noodle is better, coz I ordered less oil for the noodle and skinny charsiu. [RM7.50]

Need I say more than what's already stated in the title? It's great char siew! Its crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I don't usually eat the char siew fat because I don't particularly like its taste, but this was completely different! So even to those fat-hating people like me, do give this one a go! Marinated well with sauce (which isn't too sweet-perfect!), you should try dipping it into both the sweet, black sauce and the chili provided.
It's served with Hakka noodles or just rice as well, but those aren't too much to shout about. The very crispy lard pieces are just absolutely scrumptious though! Lard is normally chopped into large pieces and they normally collect a lot of oil, but the lard served here are more towards the crispy part of bacon- just delicious!
Price wise, it is isn't too bad either.
